This week's shipments

It feels like it's been a while since I posted cards received. . . or is it just me? :) I think everyone's been really working on the OQC cards so there have been less in the last couple weeks than usual. I know that's a lot of what I've been working on, too. That's due to two events:

  1. My church had a cardsigning last weekend and will continue this weekend. What's a cardsigning? Well, I have hundreds of cards ready for the congregation to sign, and am set up at tables in the foyer! Last weekend was fun and I'm looking forward to this weekend too. The kids in the children's program are going to sign cards this week too; they often make cards for different things, but there' excited that this time they get to write on "big people cards"!
  2. In a few weeks—June 21 to be precise—is an event at Camp Lejeune! I'm going to get on a plane and go to this one too . . . how can I resist thousands of marines?? And I'll get to meet Diane from CFH (Cards for Heroes), some of the folks from Operation: Quiet Comfort, and Any Soldier . . . this is going to be very exciting, and I can't wait!
So now for the cards! These were sent to an army unit in Afghanistan and a Marine unit in Iraq—the Marines are 150 women! Yes, most units I send to are mixed, but I couldn't resist stocking up a great bunch of ladies with cards. And a bunch of these are OQC cards too, so will end up at one of the above mentioned events. Without further ado:
