Oh what a night!
I had such a great evening....got to meet one of our heroes!!
He returned home a few weeks ago, and I'd been waiting to bother him (lol)....I have plans, ya know! I remembered suddenly last night that we had our church's care package packing party—and that I should have just invited him to come. Doh! I am sooooo slow at thinking of things like that! Fortunately he had some time to stop by this evening and he came by with his daughter!
(And Chris, if you're reading this, I hope I wasn't too much of a doofus. Often I cry and/or get completely discombobulated when I talk with a soldier, but I think I wasn't too embarrassing!)
Okay. On to the card for today! This is another one of the ones I'm taking to Fort Lewis this weekend - got the ovals punched, images stamped and colored. The cardmakers will glue on the paper pieces cut out for the body of the spaceships, and stick the flags on, and assemble the whole thing.
Tomorrow I get a little more fun too—I'm taking a vacation day, and I get to hang out with Donna who's in from Alaska and go stamp shopping! Can't wait, that should be lots and lots of fun.
That's it for now....hope you all had as exciting a day as I did! :)

Girl, that's a lot of excitement in two days! Enjoy your shopping, and we'll expect to see what you get.
What fun feedback! So nice to hear that the packers are making it even easier for the soldiers to find and use our cards. Way to go guys!!!
